Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Jazz | Daryl Sherman, Jazz Pianist


Daryl Sherman has been a fixture for many years playing Cole Porter's Steinway at the Waldorf-Astoria and recently at the Algonquin Hotel Oak Room. She performs internationally at jazz venues, concert halls and her numerous recordings are in regular rotation on Cable TV's Music Choice and Sirius XM Radio. A frequent guest on Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz, she's a favorite at St Peter's Midday Jazz Series and has played an important role as artistic director for a Lyrics & Lyricists program at the 92nd Street Y.

They are poet Darian Dauchan, violinist Curtis Stewart and bassist Ian Baggette. 4pm Joanna Parson - Parson (pictured) is an actress, comedian, musician and writer, and has performed her social-satirist comedy for clubs like Caroline’s, Gotham, and Los Angeles’s The Comedy Store, as well as alternative venues and mainstream theaters across the country. Her CD Oh I’m Sorry Were You Talking I’ll Be Quiet includes tracks recorded for WNYC’s public radio program The Next Big Thing. 5pm Copal - Copal blends the haunting sounds of violin and cello with world rhythms, electronic-scapes, and original melodies rooted in global traditions. They weave soundscapes inspired by Middle Eastern rhythms, dark Nordic melodies, Hungarian riffs, Spanish-flavored cadences and harmonies to paint pictures and landscapes.
