Pause for a moment to deepen your connection with nature in this 90-minute journaling workshop. Begin or enhance your nature journaling practice through ecological context, thematic prompts, and dedicated writing time. This month's theme is "Spring Phenology," focusing on the science behind seasonal changes and inspiring thoughts of renewal and growth. Note: Materials are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, but it is encouraged to bring your own materials and journals if you have them. Reading | Collective Experience Exploring the Poetry of Audre Lorde
But Then You Read Lorde is a multidisciplinary, day-long program celebrating the breadth of work and the influence of Audre Lorde, hosted by Alexis Pauline Gumbs, author of Survival is a Promise: The Eternal Life of Audre Lorde. Participants include Alexis De Veaux, Beverly Sheftall, Briona Simone Jones, Cheryl Boyce, Cheryl Clarke, Holly Smith, Jacqueline Nassy Brown, Mecca Jamilah Sullivan, Darnell Moore, Aunjunue Ellis Taylor, Tasha Dougé, and more. The program brings together a dynamic group of writers, artists, cultural producers, and scholars to read primarily from Lorde’s poetry, activating her work as a living, shared practice. Across the day, audiences are invited to listen, reflect, and engage with themes of love, power, identity, and liberation that remain as urgent today as ever. Attend this collective experience of voice, memory, and transformation where reading becomes a way of connecting, remembering, and imagining other worlds.

His first major film role was as Leopold Bloom in the 1967 film The Producers, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. It was the first in a series of collaborations with writer/director Mel Brooks, including Young Frankenstein, which Wilder co-wrote, garnering the pair an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Based on the short story "The Wisdom of Eve" by Mary Orr. Director: Joseph L. Mankiewicz Cast: Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, George Sanders, Celeste Holm, Gary Merrill, Hugh Marlowe, Thelma Ritter, Marilyn Monroe Bette Davis was an American actress of film, television, and theater. She's considered one of the greatest actresses in Hollywood history, often playing unsympathetic, sardonic characters, and her performances in a range of film genres, although her greatest successes were her roles in romantic dramas. Over the course of her career, she won the Academy Award for Best Actress twice, was the first person to accrue ten Academy Award nominations (and one write-in) for acting, and was the first woman to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute. In 1999, Davis was placed second on the American Film Institute's list of the greatest female stars of classic Hollywood cinema. Marilyn Monroe was an American actress and model, often considered the face of the face of Hollywood's Golden Age. She was often cast as comic "blonde bombshell" character roles. During her lifetime, her films grossed $200 million (~$2 billion in 2025). She won many awards, including a Golden Globe, and received even more nominations.

The life of boxer Jake LaMotta, whose violence and temper led him to the top in the ring, destroyed his life outside of it. Director: Martin Scorsese Cast: Robert De Niro Martin Scorsese is an American film director who's considered one of the major figures of New Hollywood. He is the recipient of many major accolades, including an Academy Award, three Emmy Awards, a Grammy Award, and three Golden Globes. Five of his films have been inducted into the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant." Robert DeNiro is an American actor who's known for collaborating with Scorsese. He's considered to be one of the most influential actors of his generation. De Niro has accrued many achievements, including two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe, and more. In 2009, De Niro received the Kennedy Center Honor. He was awarded a Presidential Medal of Freedom from U.S. President Barack Obama in 2016.
