Music lovers are invited to bring lunch, join friends and relax to enjoy a taste of New York’s eclectic “underground” music scene.
Founded in 2001, The MetropoliTones is a New York City a cappella group composed of alumnae from the Seven Sister colleges. When not running conferences, crunching numbers on Wall Street or consulting patients, they can be found adding musical pizzazz to corporate, private and sporting events in the tri-state area. The MetropoliTones have performed at The Bitter End, Cipriani, The New York Athletic Club, Don’t Tell Mamas, The Pierre Hotel, Ronald McDonald House, The Bronx Zoo, Madison Square Garden, Prudential Center and Giants Stadium. Selecting from a repertoire of R&B, rock and pop, The MetropoliTones “produce an ever classy, rare brand of ear-hugging harmony. They’ll move you from the head to the heart to the toes.” High energy. Lots of moxie.
