An exclusive sneak preview of a new seven-part, 14-hour documentary by renowned American filmmaker Ken Burns that will air for seven consecutive nights beginning September 14 on PBS. In advance of the broadcast premiere, the film's producers have selected one episode for a special free screening.
Following the family for more than a century, the documentary weaves the stories of Theodore, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, three members of one of the most prominent and influential families in American politics, into a single narrative. Legendary actress Meryl Streep portrays Eleanor Roosevelt in readings from her personal letters and writings, joined by Paul Giamatti, Edward Herrmann, Patricia Clarkson, Ed Harris, and Billy Bob Thornton, amongst others.
Movie starts at dusk, generally around 8:30 pm. Bring a blanket and picnic!
