Thanks to its varied habitats and combination of native and introduced species, this world-famous park overflows with wild food in mid-summer. You will find sweet, juicy European cut-leaf blackberries, cornelian cherries, peaches, black cherries, tasty heritage apples, gourmet wild mushrooms. Wild greens also thrive in meadows and along trail edges; you will hunt for purslane, lamb's-quarters (a wild spinach), wood sorrel, sheep sorrel, poor man's pepper, lady's thumb, and many more. The tour will last for about 4 hours. Please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
