All-Mozart Program: Symphony No. 1 in Eb major, K. 16 (1764) "The Jupiter Symphony", Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551 (1788) The Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, along with NYC student musicians, performs. Conducted by Louis Langree. Founded in 1966, the orchestra has become a cultural icon of New York City. It features musicians from diverse American orchestras, including the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, New York City Ballet Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, among others. Please note: They recommend arriving 20 minutes before the performance, and will begin seating standby guests 5 minutes before start time.
