Camille Thurman is a composer, vocalist, saxophonist, bandleader, and unique interpreter of the jazz tradition. Thurman has toured with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by nine-time Grammy winner Wynton Marsalis, and has performed at Dizzy's Club, Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center. This evening, Thurman and her quartet present a program of reimagined Burt Bacharach hits. Considered one of the most important composers of 20th-century pop music, Bacharach has released nearly 50 top-ten hits, blending jazz, soul, bossa nova, and pop styles into a distinctive new sound. Seating is first-come, first-served. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Proof of full vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test with government-issued photo ID is required; otherwise you can be seated in "distanced" pre-set chairs area.
