A special evening devoted to Mozart's chamber music performed on period instruments, highlighting the fortepiano, the forerunner of the modern piano and the instrument of Mozart’s era. Fortepianist Audrey Axinn joins Theresa Salomon, violin, and Lindy Clarke, cello, in performances of two of the six trios Mozart wrote during his decade in Vienna and which, as with other instrumental music forms, defined the genre of the classical style.
