A showcase of sculpture, collage, photography, and live painting curated by Grace Yeonsook Ji. As the first exhibition in the new year, its goal is to overcome the spiritual darkness the pandemic has cast over New York with art focused on prayer and the nature of God. The exhibition invites viewers to see suffering not as a challenge but as an act of grace in service of God's plan, a timely message going into 2022. The opening reception will feature interactive art by renowned experimental painter Kyung-mi Jeong and a solo dance by Hyeseon Jeong Korean Dance Company, as well as a variety of multimedia art pieces the audience can participate in. A featured speaker will be an elderly woman who survived being a "comfort woman" in World War II. Refreshments will be served.
