"Banshees" is a group exhibition of eight women sculptors who use traditionally feminine signifiers to challenge gendered narratives through scale, material, and surface manipulation. Inspired by the banshee from Irish folklore, the exhibition reimagines the figure as a symbol of protest, defiance, and subversion of the "good girl" / "bad girl" dichotomy. The works, created with materials like concrete, neon, steel, and wood, disrupt traditional boundaries, blending dream theory, mythology, and history to reveal and distort perception. Participating artists: Kat Chamberlin, Roxanne Jackson, Rose Nestler, Heidi Norton, Esther Ruiz, Carolyn Salas, Trish Tillman, Letha Wilson.
