Tour | Tour of Gracie Mansion, Home of New York's Mayors

In 1799, a prosperous New York merchant named Archibald Gracie built a country house overlooking a bend in the East River, five miles north of the then-New York City limits. Little did he know that, more than 200 years later, his home would be serving as the official residence of the First Family of New York City - a place where history is made, not merely recorded. As a historic house museum run by the Parks Department, sitting on 11 acres of grounds now known as Carl Schurz Park, Gracie Mansion has served as the home of 11 mayors, beginning first with Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia in 1942. Start times: 10:30am, 12pm, 1:30pm

Book Discussion | Frankie: A Novel by TV's Graham Norton

An evening with Graham Norton, the host of The Graham Norton Show, to celebrate his new novel. Always on the periphery, looking on, young Frankie Howe was never quite sure enough of herself to take center stage—after all, life had already judged her harshly. Now old, Frankie finds it easier to forget the life that came before. Then Damian, a young Irish caretaker, arrives at her London flat, there to keep an eye on her as she recovers from a fall. A memory is sparked, and the past crackles into life as Damian listens to the story Frankie has kept stored away all these years. Traveling from post-war Ireland to 1960s New York—a city full of art, larger-than-life characters and turmoil—Frankie shares a world in which friendship and chance encounters collide. A place where, for a while, life blazes with an intensity that can’t last but will perhaps live on in other ways and in other people.

Concert | A Performance by Broadway Composer Micah Young

Yes, Broadway is filled with talent, young and old, but of all those out there and working right now, Micah Young is among the new and enduring stars. Despite his young age, Micah is already a noted composer, lyricist, music director, and pianist who is now completing his own new musical, The House by the Sea. Come hear some of these hauntingly beautiful new songs, performed by Micah and some of his Broadway star companions/colleagues, including Jill Paice. Micah has been the conductor of the original production of the Tony Award-winning Spring Awakening, music director of the nationally touring Fun Home, debuted his musical Bea & Ben, and has played in the orchestra pits for Mamma Mia, Chicago, Mary Poppins, and many other shows. He is, indeed, one of Broadway's most charismatic, prolific, engaging, and multi-talented talents. Micah is destined to be--and remain--one of the forces of Broadway and beyond.

Dance Performance | 2025 Out-FRONT! Festival: 2 New Dance Works

Out-FRONT! Fest is a new dance, performance art, and film festival championing the voices of LGBTQ and Feminist artists for a lively exchange of art and culture. The Out-FRONT! Festival 2025 is curated by Gian Marco Riccardo Lo Forte, Philip Treviño, and Daniel Diaz; producer Remi Harris, and cultural organizer Joyce Isabelle. The Festival features award-winning artists who enlighten, entertain and promote conversations around aesthetic diversity and personal journeys on the intersection of mutual ideas, cultures, and meanings. Blaze Ferrer: Dick Biter Dick Biter is a dance that mourns the death of punk while channeling its contemporary detritus. Using deconstructed drag movement, mylar fringe buttplugs, traffic cones and Fiona Apple's 1997 VMAs speech as a springboard, Dick Biter collages dance scores and texts to embody both the divine femme and butch, and propose a space for abrasive, seat-forward revelry. Choreography: Blaze Ferrer Performance: Blaze Ferrer, Joey Kipp, and Alex Romania Sound Design, Composition, and Percussion: Jeff Aaron Bryant, Guitar: Alex Romania Lighting Design: Ebony M. Burton Costume Design: Emily White Stuart B Meyers: thegarden thegarden is an abstract movement exploration of the ever-becoming nature of the body and its outer world. As a blueprint for technotronic invention, the corporeal reveals itself to be a glitching system – one that is ripe for repair, updates and visioning. By constantly and consciously reconnecting to the body as organic material, the dance proposes a rediscovery of the supportive unseen forces that sustain us. It moves to re-member the spiritual processes and practices that ground us in our own ability to build newly gleaming futures. Choreography and Performance: Stuart B Meyers
