Concert | Sean T. Hanratty / The Fools, do-it-yourself rock & roll

D.I.Y. musicians are singing the praises of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll with tunes at this monthly music showcase where artists choose substance over style. Sean T. Hanratty is described as "an art-throb with the voice of an angel who smokes fifteen packs of Camel unfiltered a day." The Fools are a female duet "who've had more bras hurled at them than Tom Jones." The night is hosted by two-time Mr. Lower East Side, Moonshine Shorey, who gives out free raffle prizes and drink specials all night long. And the audience, comprised largely of Downtown's dwindling population of freaks, is a show in and of itself.
