Jazz | Russ Kassoff, pianist for Frank Sinatra, Rita Moreno and Liza Minnelli


Kassoff toured as pianist to Frank Sinatra from '80-'91, served as pianist/accompanist for Liza Minnelli from '82-'01 and Minnelli's music director and conductor for the acclaimed Minnelli on Minnelli national tour ('00). In '07 and '08, he appeared as a featured guest on Marian McPartland’s Piano Jazz on NPR. Dario D'Ambrosi, an Italian auteur of theater and film, has created an original genre of live performance to be called "The Drive-In Stage™" and will inaugurate it July 6, 7 and 8 with the world premiere of his hour-long thriller, "Night Lights." This drama portrays a precarious liaison between a female university professor and a male ex-convict in a city street.
