Another example of an event that you can attend all year round on weekdays is Federal Reserve Bank Tour, which takes place every week day at 1 pm (but advanced reservations are required). You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. If you are classical music afficionado, you can spend whole day in New York going from one free classical concert to another. Concert | Bettye LaVette/Budos Band/Rhythm Revue with Felix Hernandez, rock/funk music


Combining elements of blues, country, rock, soul, funk, and gospel, Bettye LaVette (pictured) has established herself as one of the country’s most spirited and prominent voices. Recently performing at the Kennedy Center Honors, LaVette delivered a stunning rendition of "Love Reign O'er Me" in tribute to Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who. With eleven of the funkiest musicians currently on the scene, Budos Band is an instrumental group from Staten Island that play in a style they call Afro-Soul, combining 1960’s soul, funk, and metal. Known for his classic R&B shows on 98.7 KISS FM, Felix Hernandez is one of NYC’s most famous radio personalities. This season Hernandez brings his weekly Rhythm Revue show to the big stage for an all out dance party sure to get everyone on their feet.
