You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Hike | Van Cortlandt Park-Tibbetts Brook Park Hike


6-8 miles, moderate pace, hilly beginning, the rest flat. Circular hike using the Old Putnam Railway, and the Old Croton Aqueduct. Lovely woods, 2 lakes, and birds in season. Concert | Jerry Rivera/N’Klabe, Puerto Rican music


Grammy Award-nominated Puerto Rican singer Jerry Rivera grew up surrounded by salsa music and musicians. After the release of his first full length album Empezando A Vivir, Rivera was given the title "El Bebe de la Salsa." Since then, he has gone on to carve out a career for himself as one of the world's most famous Latin pop stars, bringing his high-energy performances and smooth vocals to fans around the world. N’Klabe (pictured) is a Puerto Rican salsa group formed in 2003 by Héctor Torres, Félix Javier Torres, and Ricardo Porrata. Both N'Klabe's albums feature collaboration with reggaeton artist Voltio. The group also recently collaborated with R.K.M. & Ken-Y.

Kher is joined on this bill by Electro Morocco, which is comprised of five NYC-based Israelis and combines buzzing guitars with synths and beats to concoct a dance floor-friendly mix of retro rock, Middle Eastern folk and warped electro.

THIS WILL OCCUR ONLY ON CLEAR NIGHTS, SO PLEASE CALL AHEAD TO CONFIRM. Come look through a telescope at the stars. The Inwood Astronomy Project is the largest public outreach program in New York City, hoping to get 5000 New Yorkers to come look through a telescope for the first time. They will be giving away posters, postcards, and other doodads. There is always a telescope to look through, and a knowledgeable astronomer to answer questions.
