You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. Russ Kassoff is currently the Conductor/Pianist on Broadway in Twyla Tharp's critically acclaimed Come Fly Away, featuring 15 magnificent dancers accompanied by a 19-piece big-band playing live to the recorded voice of Frank Sinatra. He toured as pianist to Sinatra by request from '80-'91- including the Ultimate Event tour with Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Liza Minnelli. Opening Reception | Works on Paper: Yumiko Nagata's Gataku


Yumiko Nagata, a Gataku artist, will present a series of works for her solo exhibition. The exhibition will feature 12 of her latest works. Nagata’s works are inspired by an ancient picture scroll, Tales of Genji Scroll, which dates back to the early 12th century. The central theme of her works is Gagaku dance as depicted in the scroll, where the dancers perform on brocade cloth spread in a garden. Nagata uses her original relief printing method, Gataku, to form lines and shapes in Japanese calligraphy ink on washi paper.

Theater | Euripides' The Trojan Women: Timeless Greek Tragedy


The Trojan Women is the third tragedy of a trilogy of dealing with the Trojan War by the Greek playwright Euripides. Produced during the Peloponnesian War, it is often considered a commentary on the capture of the Aegean island of Melos and the subsequent subjugation of its populace by the Athenians earlier in 415 BC, the same year the play premiered. The Trojan women of the play are the same that appear in the final chapter of The Iliad, lamenting over the loss of Hector in this outdoor theater performance. Directed by Nicholas Martin-Smith.
