Hear about their process in writing historical fiction about the births of their respective religions, Islam and Christianity. Questions to be asked include: What does it mean for today's writer to take on the ancient stories that tradition holds dear? Are there stories, in our culture or in our personal lives, too sacred to be retold? What is at stake, for the writer and for the reader?
