You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. LoVid will host an event that focuses on generating a collective portrait of the participants. As a central component of the activities, LoVid will create photographic portraits of select participants while leading them through a choreographed exploration of identity, communication, and transformation. Masters at crafting captivating soundscapes, this Brooklyn-based quartet explores and experiments in collaborative art-making during their residency. Femi Kuti & The Positive Force have blended Funk, Jazz, and African Folk throughout their 27-year career to create a colorful and distinctive sound in the music world. Ahmed Gallab, the Sudanese-born multi-instrumentalist and founder of Sinkane, came to the US with his family at age five and then continued to move around until he was 18, when he settled in Columbus, OH. There, he became part of the city’s hardcore Punk scene. Before making a record of his own, Gallab was best known for lending his musical talents to the likes of Yeasayer, Caribou, and Of Montreal.
