From the Beats to the Folk Movement, from workers rights to gay rights, the Village has often been the center of it all.

It truly lives up to its nickname as the Eighth Wonder of the World. Yet behind all its physical beauty and charm lie darker truths. The bridge has been bad luck for some and a curse for others. Mysterious illness to a stampede to faulty construction and outright murder have claimed the lives of dozens, including the bridge's designers.
