The Greek Jewish Festival celebrates the unique Romaniote and Sephardic heritage of the Jews of Greece. Experience a feast for the senses including authentic kosher Greek foods and homemade Greek pastries, traditional Greek dancing and live Greek and Sephardic music, an outdoor marketplace full of vendors, arts and educational activities for kids, and much more. Artists performing: Elias Ladino Ensemble (Ladino Sephardic music), Greek American Folklore Society (Greek folk dance performance in traditional outfits with lessons for the public), Noga Group featuring Avram Pengas (Greek, Israeli, Sephardic, Mediterranean), Layla Isis (master bellydancer), Scott Wilson and Effendi (Turkish and Middle Eastern music), Pontic Firebird (music from the region of Pontus, on the shores of the Black Sea and in the Pontic Mountains of northeastern Anatolia).
