“Alteuland,” taken from Theodor Herzl’s Utopian novel, will feature seven films selected from current Israeli LGBT cinema. From successful features such as Yossi and Jagger and Eyes Wide Open to award-winning documentaries, including Keep Not Silent and Paper Dolls, these films explore the Israeli LGBT community, gender identities and sexual politics, offering a unique perspective and different insights on the state of Israel, its society, and culture.
