Tess Coleman is a single mother, and her teenage daughter Anna couldn’t be more different, causing them to drive one another instance. After they both receive a cryptic fortune at a Chinese restaurant, they wake up the next day and discover that they have switched bodies. They spend the day pretending to be one another until they can figure out a solution. In the process, they start to develop and understanding and respect for each other.
