Gallery Talk | Artist Luis Camnitzer speaks on Blinky Palermo


Palermo was a German abstract painter (1943-1977) famous for his spare monochromatic canvases and "fabric paintings" made from simple lengths of colored material cut, stitched and stretched over a frame. Camnitzer is a German-born Uruguayan artist and academic who resides in the United States. He is a conceptual artist who works in the media of printmaking and sculpture.
