Unlike the parents of children of color, who explicitly explain the rules of society with its limits and dangers, parents of white children needn't explain a thing. It is high time - indeed the time was long ago - to unmask and unpack this societal concept that feeds racism and perpetuates inequality.

Kianja Strobert: Of This Day in Time, the artist's first solo museum exhibition in New York, brings together a selection of paintings and drawings made over the last five years.

DUO MODERNE (Lauren Alfano, soprano and Noby Ishida, piano) is thrilled to present their next performance. The program includes a selection of favorite Italian Baroque arias as well as songs by Schubert, Rodrigo, De Osma, and the fine American composers: Michael Dutka, Timothy Miller, and Davide Zannoni.
This film by pianist-turned-filmmaker Ophra Yerushalmi focuses on the inner duel between the virtuoso and the composer, the seduction of glamor and the quest for spirituality that took place throughout Franz Liszt's entire life.
