B ig-shot executive Louis Winthorpe III and broke hustler Billy Ray Valentine are the subjects of a bet by Mortimer and Randolph Duke, two successful brokers. The Dukes frame Winthorpe, an employee of theirs, for a crime he didn't commit. They then replace him with the street-smart Valentine. When Winthorpe and Valentine discover the truth, they team up to bring down the Dukes. In 2015, Murphy was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, and in 2023 the Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award. Jamie Lee Curtis is an American actress and producer known for her performances in the horror and slasher genres, in addition to roles in comedies. Curtis has received multiple accolades, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and two Golden Globe Awards, as well as a nomination for a Grammy Award.
