You can take at least 13 free tours every day of the year, except the New Year Day, July 4th, and the Christmas Day. With Robert Hormats, who led the first senior economic delegation to Myanmar last year, encouraging the recovering autocracy to improve its business environment on issues including rule of law, labor rights, and transparency. Hormats has held numerous high-level positions: He was formerly Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs (International) and also served as Senior Deputy Assistant Secretary, from 1977 to 1979, and Assistant Secretary of State, from 1981 to 1982, at the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs. He was Ambassador and Deputy U.S. Trade Representative from 1979 to 1981. He served as a senior staff member for International Economic Affairs on the United States National Security Council from 1969 to 1977, where he was senior economic adviser to Henry Kissinger, General Brent Scowcroft, and Zbigniew Brzezinski.

Padgett lives in New York City. Thomas Devaney was born in 1969 in Philadelphia, PA. He is a poet, teacher, and editor. He is the author of The Picture That Remains (The Print Center of Philadelphia, 2013); A Series of Small Boxes (Fish Drum, 2007); The American Pragmatist Fell in Love (Banshee Press, 1999); and the nonfiction book Letters to Ernesto Neto (Germ Folios, 2005). Five of the selections will be pieces from a larger work composed by Aaron Irwin which are inspired by the twelve published short stories by Breece D’J Pancake. Breece (Dexter John) Pancake (1952-1979), was an American short story author who was a native of West Virginia. He wrote one published book of short stories that was published posthumously after he shot himself at the age of 26. Pancake’s stories lay out a world located in the hills of West Virginia – “the pockets of neglected farm and mining country where people lose their livelihoods, their friends and lovers, their land and their birthrights, but remain stubbornly hewn in place.”
