Koh is recognized in the United States and abroad for her ability to fuse intensity of temperament with a classical poise and elegance. Since she came to international attention in 1994 as winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition, Koh has gone on to perform as guest soloist with many of the world’s leading orchestras, including the Chicago Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony, National Symphony of Washington, D.C., the Moscow Radio Symphony, and the Helsinki and Czech Philharmonics.

From playwright DiIorio, whose play Apostasy was produced in 2007, comes the tale of seventy-year old Chick Chicarella, who has one prized possession: a 1966 Jaguar Sedan desperately in need of repair. When Chick’s son Bone suggests that they make the repairs so they can finally sell off the car, old family wounds rise to the surface. With the help of a talented, but strange body-woman Carla, Chick and Bone learn some hard lessons about repairing cars and, in the process, about smoothing out life’s jagged edges.
