Tour | For Tryon-to-Fort Lee Walk


5 or 8 miles on pavement with some hills. Starting from Dyckman Street, walk up to the Cloisters, past more the sites of Fort Tryon and Fort Washington, then over the George Washington bridge to the Fort Lee Historic Park, which has a small museum. Plan to eat lunch overlooking the Hudson. The 5-mile walk will end at the bus stop in Fort Lee. If conditions are good, those who wish may continue to the Shore Path (a steep down) to the Englewood boat basin and up to get a bus from Englewood Cliffs. Rain or high winds cancels.
