A joyful evening of song and music focusing on the many facets of the works of various Austrian composers. With Austrian Johanna Rosa Falkinger (Soprano) and Daniela Dawn Fietzek (Piano). What causes movement? Soprano Falkinger and pianist Fietzek, with their song program "Springtime", greet the gentle breezes of the East Coast's many shores. Through works by Schubert, Bruckner, Fanny Mendelssohn, along with their contemporaries, they explore several romantic reflections on nature, overcoming the last traces of winter's sadness. The vibrantly energetic voices of the famous Johann Strauss, the accomplished Michael Mautner and the exceptionally talented young Austrian composer Flora Geisselbrecht will bring to us the exquisite joy of spring.
