As a toddler, Buddy was accidentally sent to the North Pole and therefore raised by Santa's elves. As an adult, though, he can't help but feel that he doesn't fit in, so he travels to New York—still dressed like an elf—to find his real father. After a DNA test to prove it, Buddy learns that his father is Walter Hobbs, a cynical businessman. Buddy attempts to start a relationship with his father, leading to chaotic results.
